What the seven-day listing confirms
PlayStation lists the same preload allowance for Standard and Ultimate. Choosing the more expensive edition does not buy an extra download window.
The listing gives a window, not a separately stated preload start hour for every region. Use the timer attached to your purchase when planning the final evening. Rockstar’s November 19 release date is the launch reference; download readiness and permission to start the game are separate checks.

Check the preorder inside Game Library
On PS5, select GTA VI in Game Library and open its countdown. PlayStation says this reveals the included content and its automatic-download selections. A checked item has auto-download enabled.
Review the actual contents instead of assuming every bonus is a separate download. The console’s list is the useful place to confirm what is queued for your account.

Let the console finish work in rest mode
In Settings, open System, then Power Saving and Features Available in Rest Mode. Enable Stay Connected to the Internet. This is the setting PlayStation requires for downloads and updates during rest mode.
Game updates have their own controls under Saved Data and Game/App Settings, then Automatic Updates. Auto-download and automatic installation are different choices: automatic installation can close a suspended game. Choose the behavior you want before leaving the console unattended.

Recheck the console before your first session
An enabled download setting is preparation, not a completion receipt. Look at the console before the time you intend to play, and resolve any update prompts that need approval.
This checklist uses PlayStation’s documented settings. Xbox owners should follow their console’s purchase and download controls; do not copy PS5 menu names or assume that a regional PlayStation countdown establishes Xbox timing.
