Which purchases and accounts qualify?
PlayStation’s offer covers digital Standard or Ultimate purchases made before November 20, 2026. You must meet the purchase-age requirements for both GTA VI and GTA+. Physical copies are outside the digital-purchase eligibility described here.
The excluded PlayStation stores are Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, the Russian Federation and Taiwan. Eligibility follows the store terms, so a translated version of this guide does not establish eligibility for that country.

Redeem on the purchasing account
The month is not automatically activated by owning a preorder. Follow the confirmation email or visit the GTA+ product page using the purchasing account, then complete the offer transaction.
The offer is non-transferable and limited to one claim per account. Existing subscribers can add the month to their current subscription; new and lapsed subscribers can also claim it. You can choose when to redeem after ordering, provided you meet the claim deadline.

Check the payment date before confirming
The offer turns into a paid monthly membership unless canceled. As of September 10, 2026, the US PlayStation Store lists a regular month of GTA+ at US$7.99. That is a dated US price, not a guaranteed future renewal price; inspect your own region’s confirmation screen.
To manage renewal on PS5, open Settings, Users and Accounts, Account, Payment and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select GTA+ to inspect its next payment date or cancel. PlayStation says cancellation takes effect from that date.

Keep membership and game access separate
The GTA+ product page describes a membership for GTA Online players. The preorder offer is not evidence that GTA VI includes an online mode, an online launch date or early access.
If you only want the included month, choose a time when you can use it and set a reminder before the displayed renewal date. Keep the confirmation so you can check the offer again if your plans change.
