Check the account and product region first
PlayStation says Store content varies by country or region, an account's country or region cannot be changed after creation, and voucher codes must match the account country or region. Treat the account region as a purchase prerequisite, not a setting to change for a single game.
The Taiwan Xbox listing is a useful product check: it shows GTA VI's Taiwan storefront, a local price and preorder status. A listing confirms what that storefront displays; it does not guarantee that every gift card or payment method will work.

PlayStation gift cards and wallet credit
PlayStation says an adult account wallet can be topped up with PlayStation gift cards. Its gift-card guidance says the credit can be used for digital games, add-ons, subscriptions and digital preorders.
To check a PlayStation account's region, open Account Management, choose Your Information and review Residential Address; the country or region appears at the bottom. Match it to the voucher before redeeming the code.

Microsoft and Xbox gift-card credit
Microsoft says Microsoft and Xbox gift cards redeem to a Microsoft account balance that can be spent at Microsoft Store online, on Windows or Xbox for eligible products including games. Its terms say currency denominations may be added only to an account registered in the jurisdiction that recognizes that currency, and the balance cannot be converted to another currency.
Microsoft's Taiwan guidance lists a TWD 10,000 account-balance limit and says gift cards cannot be used to buy hardware in Taiwan. That hardware restriction does not establish a restriction on buying a digital game; check the current GTA 6 listing and checkout instead.

What to verify before redeeming credit
Confirm the platform account, country or region, voucher currency, current balance and GTA 6 product total. Keep the code and receipt private, and use the platform's official redemption or support flow if the code is rejected.
If a Microsoft/Xbox code is the wrong one, Microsoft's redemption page directs you to the retailer. If the balance is short at checkout, its gift-card terms describe adding funds or using another registered payment method where available; confirm the options before redeeming more credit.
